KHANATE Complete Work On Sophomore Album

"Extreme doom" metal band KHANATE, the brainchild of Stephen O'Malley (THORR'S HAMMER, BURNING WITCH, SUNN 0))), LOTUS EATERS) and James Plotkin (OLD, SCORN, ATOMSMASHER),have completed work on their second album, entitled "Things Viral".

The CD, slated for release in Europe on October 6 and in the U.S. on October 21 through Southern Lord Recordings, will contain the following track listing:

01. Commuted
02. Fields
03. Dead
04. Too Close Enough To Touch

An MP3 of the track "Dead" can be downloaded from this location.

A vinyl version will come out via Load Records in a unique package featuring one LP and one 12" EP with a slightly different track listing: "Commuted" and "Fields" on the LP, "Too Close Enough To Touch" and "Commuted (Coda)" on the 12".
